Radha’s @ The Square – Wine and Dine

Last Thursday, I got a chance to dine at Radha’s (currently known as Jesselton Butcher) with my fellow bloggers group and it was a truly great night with all those delicious foods and drinks. Radha’s is a restaurant and bar that serves both Indian and western cuisine.

We had Beer Mussels (not in the picture: crunchy garlic bread) and BBQ Chicken Wing for starter. I didn’t eat the mussels though but I’m pretty sure it’s delicious because of that creamy sauce. I dipped garlic bread to the sauce and it was so good!

Next, we had Vegetarian Thali set an Indian cuisine that offers more than one flavors; such as spicy, sweet, sour, and astringent flavor on one single plate. I believe this is the healthiest Indian meal I ever had πŸ˜ƒ

On the plate layered with banana leaf: rice, papadam (the best papadam ever!), vegetables (refillable!), dried & fermented chili, pickles, kesari sweet, payasam (Indian rice pudding if I’m not mistakenlove it!), rasam (Indian soup) and dhal/curry.

Then we had Hawaiian Chicken Pizza and Seafood Pizza. Didn’t managed to try the Seafood pizza cuz I was enjoying my Hawaiian chicken pizza which was so yummy with the thin crust and cheesy some more.

At this point, my stomach was fulled and don’t think could fill in another meal πŸ˜‚ however the Guinness Lamb looks so attractive cuz believe it or not I am a lamb-meat lover hehehe well, depends on how good it was cook of course. Hey you meat-lovers, must try this out! πŸ‘πŸ‘

After the scrumptious lamb, we had Seafood Aglio Olio with red wine. What a perfect pair, yes?!

Personally, the steak was my favorite because of the tenderness and juicy meat. I love my meat with lots of sauce and they served it right with enough amount of sauce in a separate bowl instead of just pouring it on top of the steak. Yay! πŸ‘

There’s another two interesting meals that night however I decided to stop cuz I had enough of the yumminess. I’ll try ’em on my next visit! πŸ˜‰

Was lucky enough to get to try not just their red wine but another various of drinks; “Foreplay” shot (named by Jessica, Fay & me πŸ˜…), “Orgasm Blowjob” shot (epic name I know! HAHA), “Huminodun” cocktail, and “Jojo Minty-Greeny” mocktail. Not one of those that I dislike πŸ’ƒπŸΈπŸ·plus, the mixologist was friendly and skillful I tell you! Hehe.

Twas a great wine and dine session, thanks to the owner, manager and all staff who entertained us with lots of friendly talks, services and information regarding the f&b. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Bites n Sips : Hello Stranger Cafe

So glad that I got to meet with Fay; a lovely blogger (go check out her blog!) for this Bites n Sips sesh. We actually planned to have a cafe date from the month of January and only yesterday we got the chance to finally meet up. πŸ˜… We know each other from blog years ago and then became a real friend in real life! Now baby how fun blogging is, right? 😎

We decided to try this new cafe located in Riverson – The Walk; Hello Stranger.

We arrived exactly during lunchtime so we decided to ordered some quite heavy meals.

On our table: Banh Mi (Vietnamese Baguette) Lemongrass Grilled Chicken (RM13.90), Banh Mi Teriyaki Chicken (RM13.90), Chicken Summer Roll (RM10) with Caramel Macchiato (RM9) and Iced Hazelnut Latte (RM12).

My first impression on the baguette was, it looks dry and I thought it would taste just like any other cheap sandwich but I was wrong. I never been to Vietnam yet but I believed that banh mi has brought me to Vietnam cuz it tasted so good with strong flavors of asian fusion; juicy chicken & fresh veggies. We both highly recommend you to try this banh mi if you’re planning to visit this cafe. πŸ˜‹ Personally, I’m not a fan of spring/summer roll but it tasted great after a dip into the sauce.

Fay’s boyfriend came and joined us a bit later, so they ordered another banh mi and some cakes. Carrot cheese cake which tasted so-so & Napoleon pastry-cake that I don’t really wanted to eat because of the hard and crumble textures πŸ˜‚. Tried Fay’s viet phin iced coffee, and it was the best strong coffee ever! On my next visit, definitely will picked banh mi and viet phin! πŸ˜ƒ

We ate and talked for a good two hours and definitely will set another date for another cafe sesh. There’s a lot more great new cafes to hunt. 😁 Next time, hopefully Jessica will be able to join us. 😊

That’s all for my Bites n Sips series this time and till my next post!

One Lovely Blog Award

Hello! I don’t think I ever done this before but maybe one or two bloggers did nominated me in this same (or maybe another different award) award and I feel bad that I didn’t write a post about it. Anyway, THANK YOU for following my blog, reading and commenting my posts.

I wanted to thanks Hunida for nominating me this award. She is a lovely blogger who posts her daily journal and I actually thinking of doing the same soon although there’s nothing much interesting with my daily life lol. Go check her blog!

  • Thank the person who nominated you and link their blog in your post.
  • You must include the rules and the blog award image in your post.
  • You must add 7 facts about yourself.
  • Nominate 15 people to this award.

7 Facts About Me:

  1. I am movies over books kind of person. I do read books but I watch movies a lot with my husband. If you ask me what is my favorite movie, I can’t answer you that. There’s a lot of movies that I love and mostly in the genre of action, drama, comedy, and adventure.
  2. I love to sing! I was in a church choir before and it was one of the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. From learning all the singing techniques to the main reason, sharing the message of God through music and singing. For now, I perform solo in a small churches nearby the city and I always feel good by doing so.
  3. Outdoor versus indoor? Outdoor! Though sometimes I love staying at home doing nothing, especially when I had enough with all those dramas from my workplace, I love being close to nature. It made me realize how great God is for all the amazing creations surrounding me.
  4. Married with a dive instructor but I am not a great swimmer πŸ˜… Sad when his friends thought I am a diver too.
  5. I’m not good with numbers. And when I found out my husband was not either, I said, we’re done. HAHA
  6. I’m a lactose intolerance. There was one time when I can actually drink milk without feeling bloated/stomachache or dizzy and I thought I am no longer need to worry about consuming milk cuz I love milk but too bad I am still is a lactose intolerance.
  7. City or countryside? Countryside! I was born and raised in a small village so I guess there’s no better way to explain why I chose country. Been living in the city away from my family since the age of 18. Can’t wait to go home.
Honest to blog

I would like to nominate all of my followers instead of just 15 bloggers because I know you guys are awesome. Know this, I do read your blog though I don’t leave a comment. 😊

Thank you!
